Question about First Gig with the S4
Question about First Gig with the S4 Posted on: 21.04.2011 by Roselyn Cintora Hey guys, Im actually super excited to have to be asking this question so i hope its not a dumb question but i just wasnt sure.I just got offered to play my first gig at a club and the club obviously has SSL with a mixer and 2 technics. I wanted to know if I take my S4 would I be able to hook it directly up (not quite sure about how to do this) and is there anything I should be aware of when I do? | |

Cristian Carmona 22.04.2011 | +1 w/Tekki |
Roselyn Cintora 22.04.2011 | Thanks Tekki, went to the venue last evening to check it out and its your basic set up. One area was a Rane 57 mixer and the other was a Pioneer 800 mixer. thanks for the tip on the EQ's also! you guys always come through, let me know if I should be on the heads up for anything else. Just wanna make sure everyone has a good time. |
Random X 21.04.2011 | Ah, and yeah, leave the EQs, of the mixer you're hooking up to, at neutral positions. (12 o' clock) |
Random X 21.04.2011 | Just hook it up to a channel on the mixer, try to match the volume of the SSL setup and you should be solid. |
