Triggering One Shot Samples

Triggering One Shot Samples
Posted on: 09.11.2011 by Carmel Potash
Is there any way of triggering a one shot sample twice without having to press the button four times?

Currently if I press the sample button as the sample is playing it will stop the sample, what I would like it to do is to start the sample again from the beginning. This would make playing drums using the sample buttons a lot easier to time.

So instead of

play, stop, play, stop

it would be

play, play,

iirc, you can simply switch to the sample deck and use the hot cue buttons to play the samples in trigger mode.

Well it's much more difficult then because you have to map out the default commands. It would be easier to switch it to midi mode. Check Rainer's video on custom S4 mappings.
