S4 light show
S4 light show Posted on: 25.01.2011 by Charline Dye Yul's flashy lights made me want some too, lol.Video is not as bad as the cover pic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKcRMuTVEUk found my laptop's limits on midi out msgs. If I map 1 more to what you see & it overloadds the cpu and locks up. Just did this for giggles, and a little learning. (as I had never mapped an led b/f) Sorry for the crappy video, but my cheap lil camera hates the dark. | |

Elliot Dunphy 26.11.2011 | I wanted to set my lights to blink... it could possibly make beatmatching easier. |
King Mascarinas 16.11.2011 | Its cool to see the different colors you can do on the s4. I am going to throw a couple of these pretty colors into my personal mapping, that will look nice at shows |
Charline Dye 15.11.2011 | No. Unless you want to open it up and change the LEDs. The hotcue buttons already have different colors. The cues do not. |
Yvonne Spirou 15.11.2011 | Nice blinky lights So, is there an easy way to change the default colours of the S4? For example make the Headphone CUEs white.. |
Murray Hoffa 25.01.2011 | Ahh no worries, I had another look at your video and realised that i was looking at the wrong Flashy lights! :P That Bomes looks interesting, although as i'm pretty much only after learning how to even map my controller/LED's i believe i'll leave that for either a future project or someone else... If anyone figures out how to easily change the color's hook me up! xD |
Charline Dye 25.01.2011 | Sorry was taking a nap. Thanks for helping Haze out Padi & Paulo. The colors were just what was there. I wanted to do color changes on the cue buttons, but they don't map that way. The colors are tied to hot cue states. Some one with Bomes could make a bad ass color changing S4 mapping. |

Julissa Serrone 26.01.2011 | ahhhh ok. closed traktor, reopened it. put in midi mode and now my S4 looks like a blinking Xmas tree!! Van - where do you find the CC notes for each LED? |

Leeanna Ayla 26.01.2011 | Shouldn't the ports be the S4? |
Julissa Serrone 26.01.2011 | i got it. but no lights? I see the tsi, i see the master output and all the beat phase monitors, I set it to all ports.....and nothing. any ideas? |

Charline Dye 25.01.2011 | Yeah Padi the wonderful Mac I can't afford would d/l it correctly, and would probably let me map even more flashy lights too. VanGogo has Mac envy |

When I went to download it to test it, the file type it wanted to save it in was xml. So I assume you change to all file types and change the extension to tsi. Let me know if this is working. *I tried it out and it's working. You do get all my controllers though S4 hid, S4lights, and Oxygen 49. So if you have anything customized, save your TSI so you can reload it after checking mine out. I also would delete the S4 lights mapping after checking it out. Like I said b/f, one more output msg and the cpu spikes on my puter. So I wouldn't want this running while playing as usual. |

Julissa Serrone 25.01.2011 | .tsi or it didn't happen |
Leeanna Ayla 25.01.2011 | Looks good. I hear Alicia Keys here. |
Nedra Fresneda 25.01.2011 | great, can't watch it because Sony Music blocked the content to my country. |
Random X 25.01.2011 | No problems watching the vid overhere. |
Julissa Serrone 25.01.2011 | holy shit man,.....Sony Music blocked your video in 2.2 seconds. What bullshit. Still interested in seeing what you did, i want some flashing lights as well. Edit: it blocked it in my part of the world right now. Shyte!! |
