Each Deck has one dedicated Jog FX system that are built into effects units 3 and 4 (the s2 can not control these effect units normally) Each deck can also add additional effects on 1 and 2 using the 8 knobs and buttons.

| Jarod Perrodin 02.12.2011 | The s2 settings page only works when your using the standard s2 map I believe. You can change them in the mapping page Also if you look through the mapping for left & right.loop.move its quite easy to fix the beatjump problem, change it from direct to loop. |

| Rey Holubar 01.12.2011 | Well, Ean's S2 mapping is a full mapping like you pointed out it in your first comment. It doesn't have a default mapping in it, as you can see by this comment too.
My biggest gripe in this amazing mapping is the fact you can no longer 'move' in increments depending on the loop size selected. That was such a cool feature which I hope we can get back!

that means to get complete LED control, I have to remap a user TSI to do everything the S4 has to offer and leave out the default S4 user mapping
No wonder why it's taking so much time for Ean and his mad mappers to get the S4 mapping out.

midi: common midi out functions user: common hid mode out functions user+ embedded: only beat phase monitor and volume related outputs would take over the native mapping. |

Like getting an output to work like a direct button. I am not sure if what I am seeing in the Controller Manager is that way, because I don't have an S2 connected. I'd just like to list off the functions you found and note which ones are part of Ean's mapping and which ones are standard S2 functions from what I can see in the mapping (I don't own an S2). The listing may be right, could be incorrect too. Anyone can chime in and correct me. Hope you don't mind. So here goes..... 1. Control filter with gain knob -> Mapping 2. Shift and gain knob to control gain -> Mapping 3. Shift and jog to move faster through the Track -> Standard 4. Shift left encoder knob to turn on echo freeze -> Mapping 5. FX3 i'm very new to traktor and the s2 as i only recently got it like 3 days ago. so ive got loads more in exploring. but overall it made DJing a whole lot more fun. |

A few of your issues, I believe, are to do with settings, not the mapping: the cross fader mode (thanks for that!), loading without stopping, gain/filter knobs.. I too had to go through all the settings and reset them after installing this mapping. And I have no idea if some of these settings are needed for features of the mapping to work properly.. Again, documentation would be nice. The loop/beat jump knob issue is the biggest problem I have and I hope it's just a bug and we get an update or instructions how to get the normal behaviour back. ps. I don't mean to sound harsh or unappreciative, I do truly believe the mapping is awesome and wan't to help perfect it! |
