S2 Map
S2 Map Posted on: 19.01.2012 by Jarod Perrodin Am I allowed to advertise?I have made a map for the s2 that does pretty much everything, it has 4 deck control. 8 hotcues for A&B, Beat grid from controller (delete, set, move & tap mode), 18 different preset jog fx modes (assignable to all 4 decks), Loop recorder control, Delay freeze mode, EQ Kill's for A&B, Jog Filters, Jog Browser, user selectable fx jogs, and an iPad lemur template for even more visual control. Its taken me ages and I believe its awesome. www.audioj.webs.com Please have a look tell me what you believe | |

Gene Beauplan 19.02.2012 | I made a video showing the delay on the s2d2 2 channel - check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3-ev...ature=youtu.be |
Paulette Whitehair 18.02.2012 | Cutta your in for a treat so many more features and effects i would say the mapping increases the s2 tenfold. |
Lorrine Eckstein 18.02.2012 | Litterally just placed an order! |
Jarod Perrodin 18.02.2012 | I was talking about that the other day It would be really handy. It comes with instructions and a chart that covers the controls, i dont believe it takes long to get used to, but I made it, so Im more used to the controls I guess mickd is s2d2 easy enough to get on with? It has quite alot of users now, all happy with it as far as I know |
Gene Beauplan 18.02.2012 | http://www.12inchskinz.com/native-in...-skinz-custom/ Hmm maybe I can make one of these for the ol s2d2 |
Lorrine Eckstein 18.02.2012 | This may just be what Im after, do you have any pictures/overlay description on the controls? Cheers |
Jarod Perrodin 18.02.2012 | Thanks man Great to hear your liking it |
Gene Beauplan 19.02.2012 | S2D2 2 channel !!! This is so good! Have you guys tried it yet? I really like the new delay |
Jarod Perrodin 06.02.2012 | Hi mate, yeah it comes with full instructions and a quick chart, it was a user suggestion, its quicker than reading the instructions Anything your not sure of Im a helpful fella |
Isabella Azad 06.02.2012 | Hey Jiggle, before I purchase this I was wondering if it comes with any kind of instructions? Thanks |
Jarod Perrodin 05.02.2012 | Should just import with the big import button and all be ready to go, Maybe import it twice, and make sure your on the latest version of traktor. Any problems get in touch mate |
Breann Mevissen 05.02.2012 | Hi all, Ive had Kontrol s2 for 3 weeks, pretty new to dj'ing as well. Ive purchased the mapping, when i load it into my Kontrol management, the four descks come up, but no effects, and jog wheels dont do anything, is there certain steps i need to take? |
Jarod Perrodin 05.02.2012 | Thanks man, if you have any problems or suggestions, let me know |
Reena Scussel 04.02.2012 | Jiggle, just purchased this and wanted to say thanks. |

Jarod Perrodin 05.02.2012 | Thank you I was believeing about this, should I make a 2 deck mapping with less? and more presets? Or a simpler 4 deck mapping? Or a base map where you add features? as you want them? I've managed to add every request so far, but this has meant the map having more to remember |
Sebastian Schimmer 05.02.2012 | I'll vouch for this mapping. Jiggle is constantly tweaking. As everyone has mentioned, it's very overwhelming with all the tweaks. I'll admit I wont be using in for a gig this weekend, I'm still getting used to all of it. Jiggle is the man. Hey Jiggle how about an ala-carte mapping, so we can pick and choose which ones we want or is that possible with the current mapping now? Thanks for all the time and effort you put in Jiggle.. |
Paulette Whitehair 04.02.2012 | Anyone hesitating to get this don't. It's the shit and you know this man! I'm still familiarizing myself with it all. Thank you Jiggle |
Jarod Perrodin 01.02.2012 | Thanks man thank you thank you thank you |
Mallie Wiitala 01.02.2012 | Hi Guys, i want to say "Thank You" to this GREAT Mapping and his Modder I ve got that Map 2 Days ago, and since then there are 2 Updates and so many cool Functions...this is all i ever wanted for my S2 GREAT JOB! |
Jarod Perrodin 01.02.2012 | Yeah, everything is native on the s2, there is a lemur template included but the S2 has every function, Ive really tried to make it as straight forward as possible, I believe its great, I reloaded the standard s2 map the other day to test something, my map seriously improves the s2. |

There are also instructions, but to be honest, you can imagine how nice reading traktor commands is Ive been updating it like crazy, Im just about to send out the latest version, It has everything. Has been tested and I've improved everything thats been mentioned. I have done my best to make it clear and easy to use. |
Jamila Citino 01.02.2012 | Is there a picture of how the new mappings work on the S2. I am still trying to envision everything. I played with a 4-deck mapping in the past that really was sub-par. |
Jarod Perrodin 31.01.2012 | I've been believeing, ouch. Do you have lemur? I have 20 extra user presets on the iPad template with the mapping, I could improve the iphone version for the same? That would be cool. I'l still look into everyones top choice of jog fx, the ones on there at the mo are good, but with help can suit everyone |
Jarod Perrodin 31.01.2012 | Hi mate, Il change the filter to the normal filter if you prefer that? One side is standard filter the other filter92. Did you want a reverb Jog FX? If you can email me which effects you'd like altered and Il make it happen If you like Il comment the jog fx so you can edit and save them easier? |
Lorene Romana 31.01.2012 | Is it possible to change the FX presets? The 4 presets which I get from deck A's cue point buttons are cool but I want a reverb preset too . For some reason the filter mode also switches on the Filter-92 and not the "normal" filter? But yeah... is there some way I can save my own presets so I don't need to change the FX everytime I load up the mapping? I noticed that you said there more than 8 presets available... how do I get my hands on them? *n00b* |
Jarod Perrodin 31.01.2012 | Hi mate, I did use it for the first version, it used midi for c&d, since then I've redone everything in native NHL mode. The jogs are really steppy in midi mode i found. I did use controller editor to change all the button configs at first though. Beat jump knob, you need to set to encoder, relative, 3fh and then it behaves. Im pretty sure thats what you need. Any problems, use my map hehe. Good luck buddy |
Kandra Fagler 31.01.2012 | hi there Jiggle, just wondering did you use the NI controller editor at all when creating the map? the reason im asking is whenever i tried to map the S2 midi mode (Shift + Shift) , created a generic midi mapping and start assigning stuff, things dont really work well, for example, when i map move beatgrid into the "beat jump knob" it only goes in one direction did you create a generic midi mapping or did you use the S2 -> User mapping? |
Jarod Perrodin 29.01.2012 | Yeah, that should be in the update I sent out today, did you receive it? Eq's are in with jog fx, jog filter and hotcue mode, and a load of other goodness and a really really terrible demo video check the site for a giggle, jiggle |
Gene Beauplan 29.01.2012 | Not necessary - but is it possible to eq while in filter (jog wheel) mode ? |
Jarod Perrodin 28.01.2012 | Thanks everyone 34 today, ouch. I've been working on the birthday update for the mapping, its special FX masher mode now lights up cues in blue both sides, makes it easier to recognise Deck A masher mode now just one click to enter (same as B) New way of knowing which deck your controlling, you can tell easily now Anybody have traktor scratch? Decks can now be taken over with timecode, all set in one press one click to set deck to scratch control/relative click again to go to internal control. Il make a vid because this looks really cool set any or all of the decks to timecode Jog Seek mode is back! quickly scroll through loaded tracks with the jog wheels and quick reset is done, jump straight back from any mode to standard in one go That and yesterdays VU meter switching, Thanks again Jas |

Jarod Perrodin 27.01.2012 | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCjPr...ature=youtu.be Its a video by oriyong, gives you an idea how to get around the different modes, I have changed a couple of the effects since the video was taken and added some more features. Thank you millions for upping this mate. Recent updates include, Master VU or PGM mode, chosen from the controller Big update on the Lemur iPad template, physics rock Some fine tuning here and there. Oh and its my birthday today |
Jarod Perrodin 27.01.2012 | Yeah man, there are I believe 10 different ones selectable from the s2, more if you use an ipad with it. Its massive Im really pleased everyone's liking it |
Chong Prestwich 27.01.2012 | yeah jog wheel filter sounds good! am ordering now!! are there any pre-set effect combos on this map similar to the 3 you get with DJTT? i like a couple of those - you know where the 3 effects all increase at once and carry on for a bit when you release... |
