But I purchased some s2 mappings from here: http://www.audioj.webs.com/ Just a bit over 5 bucks and paid with paypal. Let me tell you.. the effects he has setup and how he has it setup is pretty nice. Everyday the developer works a bit more with the mappings, after feedback from current customers like myself and he has been updating the mappings pretty regularly. I highly recommend checking it out.. I didnt get a chance to try out Ean's s2 mappings, so i can't compare. |

Then I have to move the X-fader to the maximum right and back to left so it will "correct itself". Also for some reason when I change the loop size from 1/32 to 32 back and forth the songs only move 1 bar forward (very frustrating!). Sometimes restarting Traktor two or three times it works normally. Weird. Are there any mapping updates coming in the future for S2? |

| Lashay Walchak 12.01.2012 | Try running importing the S4 map and see if the Kontrol S2 shows up in the device input/output tabs. I had trouble with 2.0.1 and ended up updating. Also try unchecking enable mult-processor, some say that helps. |
| Wava Zachery 12.01.2012 | Heres a question I have an S2 that is pretty much unuseable ATM due to the shotty drivers from N.I. and the high CPU load of traktor 2.1.1+ SO i downgraded to the version i had previously 2.0.3 This version is WAAAAAY less memory intensive but i fear wont be able to fully utilize the map for the S2? When i try to import my DJTT map it doesnt load anything nothing shows in dropdown and the only controller listed is the S4 in the setup. How can i load my DJTT S2 map using 2.0.3 i have the latest controller editor installed but no mapping. Trying anything i can at this point to just get the damn thing to function anywhere near what it is supposed to do! |
| Lashay Walchak 12.01.2012 | Give this a spin Basically while holding Deck A shift the old sample controls function as they did in the stock DJTT/OEM mapping, but once you enter either Sample Deck control mode the tempo faders become volume faders for that respective deck. *note - you do not have to hold shift once a sample deck(s) is turned on, you will however have to hold shift to turn sample deck(s) off When Shift is not held the Sample deck controls now control the Loop Recorder, knob = dry/wet sample deck A button = loop record sample deck B button = loop play/pause and to add more control over Loop Recorder while holding right deck shift knob = loop recorder size sample deck A button = undo/redo sample deck B button = delete and for a little extra something nice keyboard shift + corresponding sample deck loads from Loop Recorder I hope the left deck shift + old controls doesn't interupt your work flow too much, but I believe if you could get used to it that it's the way to go cuz you want to be able to hit loop record on the fly. |

With Sample Decks C&D engaged using SHIFT to load from List and to mute/unmute will delete cue points in the corresponding deck above C&D ie A/B. I believe it has to do with the Delete Hot Cue mappings. They need an additional condition M3=0 for Deck A and M4=0 for Deck B. I had 7hrs worth of gigs yesterday and it was driving me nuts, I kept losing loops in my tracks whenever I loaded a sample!! Pretty sure it is fixed now, but need to test. I have also added a whole bunch of cool features to my S2 mapping. |

| Vivan Seufert 02.01.2012 | So I'm new to djing with controllers and also Traktor, so as a result I'm new to mapping. I see great potential with this but some issues I have run into involve the jogwheel and pitch bend. When trying to engage the mappings FX by touching the jogwheel, it stops the track as a result. When scrolling through the FX to the second and third by holding shift and the pitch bend wheel it is also taking effect on the track. Do I really need to disengage my jog wheels touch? I would really like to keep my scratching and track stopping capabilities but also engage the FX without stopping playback. Hope this makes sense. |

| Lahoma Flatebo 31.12.2011 | Ok so I don't know whether this was discussed but: To fix the problem with the hotcue/ sample deck deletion all you have to do is go into the mapping, find the "Delete Hotcue" functions and the set the secondary condition to "Modifier 4 = 0" on hotcues for Deck B and "Modifier 3 = 0" for hotcues for Deck A and you're good to go. Now you can delete a sample without deleting the hotcue! WOOP! I'm trying to fix any other glitches so if you guys come across and let me know |
