Midi Yoke. Internal MIDI Routes.

I've found this program absolutely invaluable in doing my serious controller modifications and routes. I have a nasty habit of combining two controllers into one box, and this way I can let them all talk the same language like they're one controller. It's been wonderful to use to route into Bome's and start doing some craazy things!

I love being able to control my Da Scratch with my Oxygen, or have my pedal adjust all three instruments I use. It's really versatile, and essential for any PC controllerist's arsenal.

I dunno if you all know about it, but if you don't check it out!! Virtual midi channel's have proved to be imperative for the way I work.

Maple Virtual Cable is another great free program. It works the same as MIDIYoke. I believe I get lower latency using it.

What's even cooler is that the new version of Bome's MIDI Translator does virtual routing internally as well (aliasing).

MIDIyoke is one of the smart mixing main parts to route sound of Traktor through Ableton.

It is also featured in BentoSan's Smart Mixing Traktor with Ableton article on the DJTT blog.

I'll +1 this. MidiYoke and MidiOx are invaluable... Combining more thanone controller into a single midi "cable" is the only way to go. (Until Florian includes virtual midi cables into Bomes MT...)

P.S - HAPPY NEW YEAR, Y'ALL!!!
