if you are using traktor, what interaction mode and type of controller is your tempo mapped to? my interaction mode is set to direct, and type of controller is analog fader/knob.

a good reference to have if you are starting your own midi mappings is the traktor bible midi mapping guide: http://www.traktorbible.com/pages/download.aspx?id=mgev01pdf

it explores in-depth about different mapping techniques, what the different settings affect, and also gives you ideas and examples of how they can be/are used,

also check out the controller mapping section in this community . there are some great user-created mappings for the bcd3000, myself included.

if you feel it could be a hardware issue, please check community s such as this one: http://raritiesvault.net/bcd3000/index.php, and see if your controller is experiencing similar problems.

hope this helps and good luck!

The problem is, that I have already mapped it but I'm having a problem with the 'tempo' controller it keeps turning up to full and won't go back to 0!

Any clues?

Is it not in the manual? Pages 14-15.

Failing that, MIDI-OX is free and writing instruments are inexpensive!
