VCI-300 & AudioFire 2 Problems
VCI-300 & AudioFire 2 Problems Posted on: 14.03.2009 by Jefferey Delli For one of my setups that I've been playing with recently, I've been using a VCI-300 and an AudioFire 2 for my laptop sound card, not using the VCI soundcard at all.Now...everytime I mix I constantly here what can be best descirbed as a digital pop, click or scratch that randomly happens on my tracks. It seems to only really happen while running the VCI-300 with Traktor and the Midi-Translator. Very rarely when using Itch. Does anyone know what the hell would be causing this? Is it my audio cables? My USB cable? The AudioFire 2 or the VCI-300? I just can't seem to pinpoint it. The only thing I could believe of would be the firewire connection. I'm running a PC laptop dual 2.2 with the smaller 8-Pin firewire connection, which forces me to use a 6-8 pin adapter. Has this happened to anyone else? Any support would be much appreciated. Thank you!!! -DJR3DSTAR | |
