X-Session Pro crossfader - Good for scratching?
X-Session Pro crossfader - Good for scratching? Posted on: 27.03.2009 by Cleotilde Litvinov Hey, everyone. I'm getting back into VJing, and I use MsPinky's vinyl control system. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the X-Session Pro as far as quick cuts and scratches, and whether there would be a way to assign a variable curve to the crossfader. I've read some excellent reviews of the piece on this site, but none specifically mention how well it works for "scratch DJ" style mixing. I'll be checking out some of MsPinky'd options as well for MIDI translation, but I wanted to get the ball rolling. | |

Benita Jankauskas 28.03.2009 | I love mine, I scratch with it everyday, I use ableton and deckadance, not traktor or serato, but I imagine it should work just as well, there aren't any fader curve assignments that I know of though, I'll check specifically for that in the morning and let you know. |
