Miguel Schleeper 15.08.2009 | Just a thing i dont really get.. When u have this mod u can use a button on the nanopad together with the touchpad like "shift" for example. But how can i assign the Pad together with the "shift Button" in Torq? I cant really get it working Please help P.s.: I have a Virtual Midi Cable and assigned it to Bomes and also choosed it in Torq menu.. But i dont really know how to assign the Pad |
Classie Durrer 30.05.2009 | Thanks Kloseline I finally figured out and solved the problem using MIDI FIX from M-Audio.. the problem was bcoz of more than 10 midi inputs in PC |
Carina Kosmo 26.05.2009 | ive explained, how to setup the nanokontrol in this video, its basically the same. i hope this helps too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtuyAJFA_fw |
Classie Durrer 26.05.2009 | I figured it out finally. The change has t be made in the control portion of the control window in Korg Kontrol Editor. Earlier I tried global and got struck. Frankbash ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBBZFRLi3IM ) video on youtube and his reply gave me the clue to do this in the correct area of Korg Kontrol Editor. Thanks Kloseline |
Carina Kosmo 26.05.2009 | ah really? dont they show up as korknanopad 1 and korg naopad 2 ?? i only have one nanopad and one nanokntrol, and they show up with two different names. hm did you change the mid messages? mybe the system isnt recognizing them because they are sharing the same midi message (even though i believe tis is unlikely) |
Classie Durrer 25.05.2009 | Thanks Kloseline I am presently not able to connect both my NanoPADs to traktor... can you advice me how to do this. Traktor recognizes only one Regards |
Carina Kosmo 25.05.2009 | well, basically its possible. however, without the bome mod you will only be able to control 2 knobs for each sceneset with the x/y touchpad. if this is enough for you, your fine. you can either setup your system to use scen 1 and 2 for deck a and c and scene 3 and 4 on the other one for the other decks. or you use the korg control editor and make sure that no sceneset has the same midimessages sending out as the other nanopad. i hope this helps. |
Classie Durrer 25.05.2009 | Re: multiple NanoPADs for dedicated controls Thanks Daniel I am using Traktor Pro, I have downloaded a trial version of BMT pro (works 20 min) and I don't have BMT Player (couldn't find it)... ?? Can I do this (explained below) without BMT?? I am new to DJing, so my thoughts are limited to use them for Cue points & Loop size (one scene for cue & one scene for loop) and effects (X-Y Pad)... I bought two nanopads hoping to use each one for two decks (like, top row for deck A & bottom for Deck C). ?? What should be my approach, and What are the things I need to do this ?? Yesterday, I used Korg Kontrol Editor to change the channel, but both pads were assigned the same channel . So, If possible that I am believeing of using Scene 1 & 2 on one pad and Scene 3 &4 on the other.. ?? Is this Possible?? |
Carina Kosmo 25.05.2009 | What software are you using? Traktor? Well, do you want to use the bome midi mod? ensure to have different midi messages for every button. You should first tell us what you are trying to achieve with every button. It will be a lot easier to help you then. Daniel |
Classie Durrer 24.05.2009 | I got two Nanopads (I like dedicated controls) and I want one for Deck A-Deck C-FX1 , and other for Deck B-Deck D-FX2. How should I start. What are the things I need. Please give Basic information first. Thanks |
Carina Kosmo 20.05.2009 | im running a mac, thus i cant really tell you how it works on a windose... however i suggest clicking thru the options, there should be a tab with midi in (where you select the nanopad) and midi out, where you select the virtual midi port. also consult the handbook which is very easy to understand |
Dora Laffer 20.05.2009 | Hmm. I see how IN should be set to the Nano, but on my screen there is nothing called midi trans virtual out. I have: "MIDI Mapper", "Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth" and then the "nanoPAD"... |
Carina Kosmo 20.05.2009 | go to bome midi translator and make sure to select midi in, the korg nanopad. then set midi out the bome midi trans virtual out. i hope this helps. |
Dora Laffer 20.05.2009 | I'm lost. I followed the guide in the article, but it seems I'm doing something wrong. The MIDI translater doesn't show in Traktor. Witch buttons did I miss to push? And how should iut look inside Traktor? |
Carina Kosmo 16.05.2009 | its normal |
WrthKDs . 15.05.2009 | Ok, moving this over from the comments: I’ve been using the XY-Pad for quite a while now but I always have to press quite firmly (*a lot* more than on a laptop’s touch pad) and wonder if that’s normal or a defect? (I also checked if there are any setting for that but touching intensity does not seem to be measured). Any hints? |
