vci-100 reverse crossfader possible?
vci-100 reverse crossfader possible? Posted on: 09.09.2009 by Felisha Lichte Hi!This is probably very basic but I could only find very little info on this issue: I want to reverse the crossfader on my vci-100. Unfortunately there is no such option on the device itself. I found a post by Ean from 2007 where he says:
you have to do that in traktor unfortunately. There is a midi assignment for Deck X fader assign in the midi window. Assign that to one of the small knobs and you can use them as a hamster switch.
I was wondering if there is anybody here that has actually reversed the crossfader on their vci-100 and maybe can explain in a little more detail how to set this up properly? I'm using Traktor Pro 1.1. Cheers! | |

Michel Compoli 09.09.2009 | in traktor scratch pro there is a/b/c/d beside both sides of the xfader, you could use your mouse to switch them around to reverse the xfader(which is called "hamster". if you don't want to use your mouse to do it you can create a midi mapping for your controller, if you use one. orrrrrrrrrr.......if you want your xfader permenantly hamstered, i bet you could take the back off of your controller and unscrew the xfader and put it in backwards!!!!!!!! i hope this helps you, PEACE |
