buying a vci 100se Posted on: 01.10.2009 by Marguerite Faix Right, im buying a vci-100 se the minute they are in stock on tehctools as ive been saving for months and now have enough to purchase one.Basically i want to be able to receive my controller and be able to start playing straight away, so my question is, what am i going to have to purchase/download to be able to begin mixing like ean golden? By this i mean have the full version of traktor, midi mappings of that shown in the tutorials etc. Am i going to have to buy new overlays? I just want to know for sure that im not going to be waiting around still to play on my new toy lol Hope i have been clear here as im in a bit of a rush thanks | |

Tyler Wiehe 01.10.2009 | Well like stated before as long as you have a soundcard that does the job you should be good to go i just modded my VCI into an SE and used the latest tsi and its not bad, im a bit bummed out cause now i see the XONEX coming out but the VCI is still a great kit, just wish id have the mixer section of that XONEX hehehehe that certainly wouldve made the ideal mobile setup!!!! |
Anabel Madeira 01.10.2009 | Do you already have an audio interface/soundcard? Other than that, you should be ready to rock right out of the box. The SE already has the latest overlay applied. Though each mapping may introduce slight changes, they do not plan on releasing a new overlay for each mapping. I am the new owner of a SE, and so far am quite pleased w/ my purchase. Big ups to the DJTT crew! Have fun! |
