Want to Mod a Nano Kontrol and need some help
Want to Mod a Nano Kontrol and need some help Posted on: 11.11.2009 by Breana Singerman Real simple mod, but really useful at the same time. I use some Nano Kontrols with my Traktor set up, and I love them, but I don't like the knobs. On a traditional mixer you get that little click/notch when they move into the 12 o'clock position and you feel it. Not on the Nano's though. I would like to look at the screen less and just be able to feel it out as it were. Any suggestions on how to achieve this? | |

Shelby Blancaflor 13.11.2009 | actually I thought about something similar (swapping the line faders for regular pots), but was too afraid to desolder the connections, cause they seemed to be too 'delicate' for my hamfisted soldering style. |
Lenny Calmes 13.11.2009 | I use one too for my FX. I just switched the knobs with full size knobs with a line marker on them. You dont get your center click but with the line you feel where your at with the knob. |
Monet Yucel 12.11.2009 | Not to hard at all, the korg nano's are basic, open it up find out the size of the pots then go online and find the same pots but with a center indent and simply swap them out, easy. |
Breana Singerman 12.11.2009 | Now if that ain't a bitch |
Lorrine Eckstein 12.11.2009 | I'd guess you would have to replace the potentiometers to ones that have a centre click, which would probably be more trouble then its worth. Cutta |
