Kaoss Pad 3 with Traktor

Is this even possible? I've looked all over and I can't find a way to get Bome's Midi Translator or Traktor to even recognize it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I know this is a little late, but here goes:

Make sure that you have your USB drivers for the KP3 installed on the machine. I had the same issue with mine. When choosing a MIDI device you'r elooking for the one that says "USB MIDI emulator" or somethign similar to that. With updated (default out of box) driver I use Traktor Pro on XP and now everything works just fine.

I hope helps... months later.

I'm using the USB method, as I have no access to MIDI cables currently

I have a 1st model kaoss pad that works with Traktor via midi cable, so it shouldn't be a problem. Don't have any experience with the 3 though. Are you trying to get midi from the USB connection, or the MIDI IN/Out?
