Echo Audiofire2 vs. Audio 4 DJ
Echo Audiofire2 vs. Audio 4 DJ Posted on: 24.11.2009 by Mac Fly My Audiofire2 is recently being shipped away to get repaired after some technical issues with it. Good thing that it's still covered under warranty! But anywas I was wondering how did the sound quality of the Audio 4 compare to that of the Audiofire2? Did anyone use both soundcards to notice any difference? I know the Echo soundcard has very good sound quality but I'm not happy for the following reasons; - I don't like the firewire connection. I believe it's flimsy and has a tendancy to be loose fitted. - Im believeing of mixing externally. Basically just to add on to my setup and be able to use a club mixer when I feel like it. Seems like you cant earn any respect around here if you don't use the clubs mixer for some reason. - I don't like fiddling around plugging in my Echo soundcard with the 12 V power chord. So how is the sound quality of the Audio 4? Or should I just wait and keep my Audiofire2? | |

Mac Fly 25.11.2009 | Yah but much more expensive than the Audio 4 DJ. |
ma7md hany 24.11.2009 | I don't own either of these soundcards, but from what I have read and heard, the Audiofire 4 is essentially the same card but with more features. In terms of sound quality and drivers, Echo is superior to NI. |
