64-bit Drivers (Omni Control)
64-bit Drivers (Omni Control) Posted on: 17.02.2009 by Amira Rigsbee Long time lurker, first time poster.I was surprised to find after buying the Numark Omni Control that it didn't come with any 64 bit drivers. What's the support for 64bit operating systems generally like among the popular midi controllers? Did anyone else have to revert down to 32bit to support their controller? | |

Amira Rigsbee 18.02.2009 | I had XPx64 and my omni wasn't liking it so I've had to re-formatt and go for XP32. Not the biggest of deals but a little bit of a dissapointment as I didn't fancy dual booting. |
Random X 18.02.2009 | Yo DA, itsa simple. < 4Gb = 32bits > 4Gb = 64bits. |
Roberto Viccione 18.02.2009 | The thing with Vista 64-bit is that it can run almost anything in 32-bit mode if there aren't 64-bit drivers, that application can't take advantage of the added RAM bonus, though, if you have more than 2 or 4 gigs, I can't remember which it is |
sinior cliff 18.02.2009 | I'm using a numark total control and Maudio FTP on vista 64 with no problems other than it being picky on which usb port i use. |
