I was believeing of a cheap and portable way to use Serato Video-SL.

I came up with buying the Vestax Spin & midi mapping it to Serato

Do you believe it can work? Any issues I will run into? Will I be able to scratch?

Let me know what ya'll believe.

SSL doesn't incorporate any support for the jog wheels, and isn't planning on implementing any support for it either. You can control a lot of the other functions however, just not the "tables" with the jog wheels.

It's a rat situation, but it makes sense in a way because that's why Serato wants to push controllers incorporated with the ITCH software.
