Building your own midi controller

Hi guys, just found this site looks like i struck gold!

Recently bought a numark stealth to make the transition from vinyl to digital, been using it with traktor.

Basically its ok, will keep it as its very portable, but its just too basic. not enough buttons and not really suitable for 4 deck mixing.

im interested in building my own, larger version for home, have had a quick read, and was wondering if anyone has some advice?

Is it worth the hassle?

Where to get the parts? im having a problem tracking down jog wheels, as i want 4 of these because i like beatmatching.

Thanks guys
