Sennheiser HD 25-1 II Blue/Black Adidas

Just thought I'd post this up here, found them from looking through various things and I don't believe they have been posted here before.

Trying to narrow down what headphones I want to buy, and these caught my eye.

Sennheiser HD 25-1 II

Not your average HD25-1 II headphones. Those are something stylish with supposedly one of the best sets of cans you can buy. Those are what I want to get in the future, but budget holds me back atm. But thought some other folk might be interested in checking those out A little bit different than the normal look on those cans.

Nifty!, but for that price, you could easily get a professional custom job done at colorwarepc.com, I believe I got quoted at $100 for an insane high quality coat job on HD-25's

those are pretty ballin'

i actually just got my hd-25's in the mail last evening and i'm super happy with them. took them to work today just to start breaking them in and getting comfortable and jesus christ... what a peaceful commute on the metro i had.

i found a pair on uniquesquared for 162 bucks with free shipping, just a head's up, not a promotion or advertisement.

anyway, seeing these pimped out ones has me believeing if i should look into color-modding any part of mine... anyone have experience with this? what kinda paint should i use?

Let me tell you that these are TOTALLY sold out .

They were a Limited Edition run in UK & Europe only.

I bought a pair for a DJ mate in Canada from Adidas Europe and literally 20mins after i bought them they were SOLD OUT.

They came with a cool Adidas Note Book and spare cups in white.

I know another guy in Seattle that got a pair sent to him by a guy just 20 miles from me.

These are what i sent to my mate in Canada.

hate to say it, but they're 200 euro, not too sure what that is in dollars but i know it would be around 250 - 270 .

My mates wanted them....but they were not available here.

Then to order em......just too $$.

On that note, no way in hell would I pay an extra premium for different colored headphones, though they are cool :P

I'd back up the notion that they are one (emphasis on one) of the best cans you can buy. After all, there is people who would debate that the MDR-V700 even in it's prime was arguably the best DJ headphones you could buy, which is total bullpucky lol.

Well they come out at $250. And going off of Amazon, the list price is 269.95, but they sell the base model cans for 176. So is $75 an investment in looks? Probably.

But they do look bloody sharp.

why do they cost like 100 dollars more though? I can imagine like $50, but $100? Come on.
