Firewire 9pin to 6pin Cable
Posted on: 26.05.2010 by Johnie Lytton
I just bought an audiofire2 and I need to purchase a 9 pin male firewire to 6 pin male cord or adapter. I was believeing I would rather just have the solid cord as opposed to using the adapter with the provided cable just for the sake of not having 2 more connections on the sound card that could possibly give me trouble. I've been shopping around for these cables and I haven't really heard of any of these brands. Does anyone know a good brand that makes a 9pin to 6pin male cable? I was going to go with monster but I didn't see one of these from them...

my local store stock some very funky orange Lacie leads, which also has a flat profile & is nice & flexible. ....I've had no problems with mine

I would believe the best place would be your local Apple store (or dealer). I'll need one when I get a MBP to hook up my Presonus FS Mobile too.
