Here are the pros&cons : Pros: More buttons than a midifighter. LED buttons that we can use to show tempo/sync (really nice) Cons: Less feeling than with a midifighter. No knobs so controlling volume/fx/filter is possible but might be painful. My question is : If I have to finish this mapping, what would you like in it ? 1) Only play/loop/sync/cues 2) A bit of Volume/Eq control 3) Something else (you tell me then) Please comments welcome I'd really like to offer this to you along with a lil video. | Jerrie Mchaley 16.06.2010 | Hi everyones, I've made a Max Apps to control Traktor with my LaunchPad. This is my first code with Max, it takes me 2 weeks of work so be gentle... Here is some functionnalities: - 4 pages of controls - 2 decks - 1st page: Play/Pause, Sync, Monitor, FX On/Off, Volumes, CrossFader, Loops, HotCue, BeatJump - 2nd page: FX Type, FX On/Off, FX Amount - 3rd page: Browser - 4th page: Mixer control (Volume, High, Mid, Low) - LED feedback There are still some minor bugs in the code, and I don't test it on other configs (I'm using a MacBook and Traktor 1.2.4). Here is how it works: - Create two IAC ports (In and Out) - Load Launchpad.tsi in Traktor - Run LaunchPadtoTraktor app (need Max Runtime) - Enjoy ! I released it free because it still have bugs (minor, don't be affraid !) and I will be pleased if someone want to improve it or use it as a template for new stuff (like a mapping for 4 decks).
