DJTT Approved Machine Shops in LA/OC
DJTT Approved Machine Shops in LA/OC Posted on: 30.09.2009 by Myung Belski Im believeing about doing the arcade mod for my vci-100. Does anybody recommend a machine shop that has done the cuts before, so they don't have a question mark on their heads beforehand? Can you also post their prices so I don't get jooked? Looking for a shop in the LA/OC area. Thanks. | |

Britteny Fondacaro 23.06.2010 | bump |
Matthew Urtel 25.05.2010 | Just get a drill press and some oil, should take maybe 10 minutes. |
Britteny Fondacaro 24.05.2010 | Yeah I was nervous too when I dropped off my VCI. But when I got it back I was relieved and happy with the results. I believe the shop cut it with a CNC. Good luck. |
Yahaira Wolensky 24.05.2010 | awesome, thanks for the tips. I was initially planning on having my friends dad help me with it, he works are a big engineering facility that does CNC work; I'm just sketched out reading about others who had their vci's botched at machine shops. |
Britteny Fondacaro 24.05.2010 | Shane: I got mine done at Accurate Manufacturing Co. in Glendale. Address: 6641 San Fernando Rd. 91201 Phone: 818 240-4840 I took the top panel and the file from the djtt arcade kit and they had it done next day. If your familiar with the area it's a couple doors over from Astro DJ Shop. It's a little pricey I believe I paid about $100. But they did a good job so I didn't care too much. |
Cristian Carmona 24.05.2010 | talk to dj phaded he's from the area and i believe he got them done. A family member said any machine shop could do it you just have to take the vci shell and show them what you are trying to do. I cant really tell you what the cost is going to be tho |
Yahaira Wolensky 24.05.2010 | same, i just took my VCI apart and firmware upgraded as well as took the panel off to be cut, now i need a competent shop to do the cuts. Im in the LA/OC area as well |
