APC 40 Question: Volume Faders as Cross Faders
APC 40 Question: Volume Faders as Cross Faders Posted on: 27.06.2010 by Berta Baie hey guys,I had a thought the other day in regards to the volume faders/ cross fader: is it possible to get the same effects you get in Live on the cross fader, like "dipped, intermediate, slow fade, constant power" etc. but apply them to the volume faders? Would seem to me that this would be a good idea no? | |

Patty Mcgilbra 28.06.2010 | another question regarding the APC 40, I want to get into DJ'ing and am looking for a decent controller that allows me to do everything i need. So is the APC a good choice? Price seems pretty good for that many functions but can i actually mix tracks into each other with it? As in control the EQs of both tracks and then use the volume and crossfader to blend them into each other and add some effect on top of that? Would be playing EDM music so i dont believe i'll need jogwheels if you have other suggestions.... |
Berta Baie 27.06.2010 | hmmmm i could give it a shot, got a dl for that? |
Laurice Migneco 27.06.2010 | Good idea yes, but not possible currently without max4live... I made a device that was for sm4rt control of a rack which you could easily modify to be a gain stage that had it's own custom drawn curve graph... Cheers D |
