HD tv sound

and DJing in general. I plan to pick up a Vestax Typhoon at the end of the month and have Traktor pro currently on my machine. My question is about my setup. I use my PC as a media hub and it's plugged into my LG HDTV in my living room. I'm currently sending my sound through my HDMI graphics card to the TV with the onboard card (the one featuring all the jacks) disabled. My question is this - Will I be able to simply plug my Vestax into the ports on the side or back of my TV to use the speakers or will that solution not work. If the answer is no then what other solutions are there? Buy a cheap set of active speakers and use them? Sorry if the question posed is a little unclear but I don't fully understand sound cards etc. | |
