TSP/vestax spin help needed
TSP/vestax spin help needed Posted on: 10.07.2010 by Dona Miarecki hi djtt community
s, im upgrading from a vestax spin to a dvs setup with tsp. i was wondering if its possible to map the spin to tsp as some sort of an effects module, like using the jog wheels to select different effects and the volume faders as wet/dry. if so, how would i map it? i have no experience with tsp so details would be helpful. also, could i switch it to another mapping if need be? like to oldfashioned's tsis? thanks in advance | |

Corine Kasman 13.07.2010 | There is no issue with 1.2.6 if you have TP or TSP, the problem is the Setup Wizard in LE 1.2.6 does not recognize the Typhoon (you can't import TSI in LE). I'm running my Spin on TP 1.2.6 using flashflooder's TSI from here: http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=12672 I've added a couple of little tweaks, but it suits my workflow well. Virgie Igler 11.07.2010 | I use my vestax spin with Traktor Scratch Pro, they are the same program ,except TSP has the added ability to use DVS for vinyl or cd timecode control. So whatever you used on Traktor Pro, should work on TSP, unless you have version 1.2.6 apparently there's an issue with the vestax Spin and that version, so try and only update to version 1.2.4 or something. I'm not yet sure how to map the jog wheels, but I've seen other people do it. Goodluck! |
