Hey guys, im looking for a cheap speaker (single) or speakers (double). I want a low price, but can still produce a decent loud quality. Any suggestions?

i have also been hunting down good, reasonable priced speakers lately -

the KRK RP5 gen 2 seems to be a good choice - reasonable price and killer sound

im also wondering about other options - if anyone can recommend some in that price range?

Note that is 800W peak, only 200W continuous, so don't go getting those and putting 800W into them, you'll nuke them in a hot minute!

I've never been big fan of the ultra light style of speaker unless it was from Mackie, had some bad times with others. That being said, Behringer loves to steal Mackie's tech and my Behringer PA mixer has been bullet proof for 2 years now.

Some good suggestions in these threads and it looks like for the most part it comes back to the same three or four sets.
