Patty Mcgilbra 11.08.2010 | gonna post the question here instead of starting a new thread: I like the X1 but dont really get the way the looping section was setup. I'd like to use loops for buildups which is kinda hard when you loop right before the drop and the endpoint is moved by turning the knob, so when you release the loop you dont hit the drop right away unless you have cues setup (right?). And I believe when you do a manual loop using the in and out buttons and then want to shorten it using the knob sometimes the knob was set to like 1/16 and when you turn it once more you end up going from a 4 count loop directly to a 1/32th loop, which sucks Also I dont like to press the knob down to release the loop as its kinda hard to push it^^ So what I'd like to do is change the mapping a bit -remove the non-quantized in/out move by pressing in/out and move the knob -pressing the in button when a loop is running half the loop by moving the IN point -pressing the out button will release the loop I havent done any mapping before so where do i start? |
Liberty Brodbeck 11.08.2010 | It only controls 2 FX for 2 decks by default, but I'm sure you can make your own mapping to whatever you see fit. |
Alta Corea 09.08.2010 | This should help you. Im about to try out the .TSI file in this thread. I will give feedback after I get it going. Unless you beat me too it. http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=15854 |
Korey Ehman 09.08.2010 | Yes you can control all 4 decks and effects on each one with it. |
Alta Corea 08.08.2010 | You can map the controller any way you see fit for your mixing style. |
