Using 2 Controllers, need help with CC stuff
Posted on: 09.08.2010 by Soledad Kipke
Alright, so I have a Hercules DJ Control Steel, and a Korg R3. I'm trying to use both controllers as a totally awesome dual-controller rig. The Steel controls are like "Ch01.CC.36" and the Korg's keys are tagged as "Ch01.Note.D#" in the Mapping table. But the Korg's knobs and buttons are "Ch01.CC.76", etc. which sometimes conflict with the Steel. Is there a way to put the Korg onto Ch02?

Thanks in advance

I couldn't find my manual, so I turned to the Interwebz. Thanks man!

Right out of the owners manual...

Set the MIDI channel of the R3.
Select the [PAGE] dial to the 42. MIDI page, and use knob [1] (“MIDI CH”) to
set the MIDI channel.

I don't have a Korg, but I believe I've read that you can change what note the Korg's send out in their editor.
