Irwin Ney 21.08.2010 | it's sounds like fun, I wish I were there... I'm a psytrance raver addict |
Dj Spaceexplosion 19.08.2010 | Just got the DX itch controller and am getting familiar for 72 hour gig this weekend. ITs gonna be crazey and crazey fun. MBP is working fine -- few glitches here and there. Battery kind of sucks. ? 10 hour ? nada . Currently running Itch 1.7 traktor pro ableton 8 Akai apc 40 Xone DX Motu 896 mk3 Motu traveler mk1 Peak pro 6 playing classic rave tracks and psychedelia |
Nilsa Erben 20.07.2010 | My i7 17" MBP is working fine - had it about 6 weeks now, its already been across the ocean and back - no freezes whatsoever, and its had quite a workout - lots of CentOS images running in VMWAre fusion, transferred my Traktor collection over I believe 3 times, got tired of messing it up in Trainspotter, so I am re-ripping and Trainspotting and FLAC'ing my entire collection. |
Dj Spaceexplosion 19.07.2010 | i saw that site and thought it was a nice facility for judging the model cycles. got the i7 and am putting it through the paces. definately going to upgrade the hardrive to an ssd sometime next year -- more ramm as well. but for the way ive been working on the 1.67ghz ppc powerbook. This computer is quite enough for now. xone 1d doesn't work on usb as was suspected. akaii mpk 49 does work. Traktor and ableton seem to be all there. |

Cristian Carmona 16.07.2010 | i worked on one and I feel in love. It was for one of my clients for video production. 3ghz i7 8gb ram, 500gb hd and the thing is insanely fast! i could just imagine if it had a SSD hd. for djing, i believe its over kill, for production, i still believe its over kill. i would opt for a 15" i7, even a i5 would be a workhorse. I would wait to see if they load the 13". Word on the streets is that intel is baking some new chips called sandy and once those come out, im sure the will be in the macbook pro and the i5 will be standard on the macbook pro 13" |
Omar Nila 15.07.2010 | 4gb will probably be enough for djing i dont see why you would send it back id love an i7 to replace my 2008 macbook. my friend has one and he hasnt had any problems so far he loves it |
