Xone mixer need questions.
Posted on: 19.08.2010 by Alta Corea
Im looking to buy one of the following mixers.

Xone 62
Xone 92
Xone 464

What I was wanting to know is which mixer can be used as a USB controller for Traktor Pro. Ive been reading and reading and reading but havent came across my answer and also been watching youtube videos. Wanting to use the mixer with my midi controllers but Im not sure if I need a Audio 4 or 8 to hook the mixer up in order to work with my 1d and x1 either. Ive only been using Traktor and Midi controllers for a little over 2 months so Im a little confused when it comes to seeing people mixing with a mixer and using midi controllers instead of decks.

Thanks for the help DJTT community.

just wanna chime in to say I love my 92!

Get a good road case for it though cause it won't fit in no bag...

Was about to say the Pioneer mixers all have a flaw... fixed voltage based on the country you bought them in. I almost got a djm 2000 for 900$ Amazon listed it incorrectly and I put it in my cart and checked out... So they had to honor their mistake... while waiting for them to come back in stock I read about the fixed voltage. and canceled it and got a xone 92 which can do both voltages. I will be going back and forth to australia /florida/germany and dont want to to lug around a power transformer.

Xone 4D I was going to suggest as the ultimate mixer if you want to have something midi controllable... I almost might get one for a second mixer.

if you're looking for something to map in traktor, the 3D and 4D's are pretty much the coolest things to happen ever.

Okay so the Xone mixers are just external and not mapped at all. This whole time I thought people were mapping them.

dude if you are getting xone mixer you wont need to map it

just get a audio 8 and run the outs in to a xone 4 channel mixer and mix externaly
and you can still use your midi controllers to control efx etc...

Forgot to add I will be running 4 decks and want to be able to run effects to all 4 decks independently.

I do understand how to map it all. Just wasnt sure which mixer will allow me to do so. Came across one of the mixers with a RCA/USB out and didnt know if it was what I was looking for. Thats why Im asking these questions today.

Idea on the RCA/USB I was confused on.
