Kontrol X1 acting wierd in Traktor Pro
Kontrol X1 acting wierd in Traktor Pro Posted on: 31.08.2010 by Wava Egizi Hello!I have this strange problem with my X1 controller. When all my effect knobs but one is at 100% everything works fine. But when I turn that last knob to 100%, suddenly every knobs in Traktor turns to about 80% and flicker around between like 80-90% without me touching those knobs on the X1. This happens only when I turn all the knobs to 100%... Don't know why... but it makes me sad! Please help me! =) / Oskar | |

Wava Egizi 31.08.2010 | Hm... talked to tech support at NI now. He told me to send it in to have it replace... so I have submitted a contact form at NI's homepage for them to contact me. Hope this doesn't takes too long! =( |
Wava Egizi 31.08.2010 | My specs: Traktor Pro 1.2.4 Windows XP |
Leeanna Ayla 31.08.2010 | What version of Traktor and what computer are you using? |
Wava Egizi 31.08.2010 | Okey! Thanks for the advice! I will try that! I bougth the X1 from a person, not a store... So I don't have a reciep. But it was unused and bougth from www.native-instruments.com. Is it enough to register the device for support and replacement? |
Delila Vandommelen 31.08.2010 | Try to reproduce this in midi mode and check what happens in a midi monitor (midi-ox on windows and uh... don't know what on OS X). I expect you'll see similar amounts of unsolicited events. You could try switching usb cables or ports, but chances are that's not it and the X1 needs to be replaced. One of mine has always acted up slightly in a way similar to this (the pots jitter a little by themselves except when tweaked all the way to 100%) and when bringing this up with NI support while talking about something else, they suggested to have it replaced. |
