Check out my brand new mackie 8 channel mixer! Posted on: 04.09.2010 by Leigh Derbyshire Ok, well not quite new.http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/861/1000576e.jpg http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/6614/1000575.jpg Was believeing of anything I could use for an external mixer that wouldn't be expensive, and remembered I had a few of these laying around. Pretty fun to use, lot more headroom than traktor. EDIT: oh but the gain is a bit finicky to use... | |

Leigh Derbyshire 05.09.2010 | You believe I'd be using this if I had a mixer with a crossfader? I do have another one of these laying around though, maybe after I get some CDJs I'll do something funky with those, two of these mixers and traktor. |
Jacquiline Dua 05.09.2010 | if want to get technical.... this mixer has 2 aux send/returns so you could add fx or use those to send your sources to another 2 channel mixer with crossfader |
Leigh Derbyshire 05.09.2010 | I'm used to traktor so I'll probably use this for learning about how to use the gain and stuff, I kinda want to rig up a crossfader or something to it. I also just found out it has a special feature where the knobs come up a bit so you have room to turn them! Unfortunately they can come off if they go too far. |

Leigh Derbyshire 05.09.2010 | 8 usable, but 4 of those are mono so it's more like 6. |
Jacquiline Dua 05.09.2010 | 12 channels not 8 had the same one.... once my aux send died... i threw it 20 feet up in the air and retired it |
