Custom SNES controller....
Posted on: 20.07.2010 by Graham Frazier
I just realized that i've never posted this on here, so here it is....

I made this a few years back. It's really simple, just 2 pots and 2 buttons.
The L/R paddle buttons work, and i know i've needed knobs for it for years now, but i'm kinda used to it the way it is. I take it out for the occasional show and use it for effects. It gets a huge reaction from the crowd everytime.

The only thing i used from the old controller was the case, and the paddle buttons. The circuitry is actually a custom design job, done with a PIC microcontroller. It was really easy, with a little help from a friend who's really good at programing.

Damn that's cool. I've been wanting to do something similar with an old psx controller for a while now.
