Sanwa OSBF-30 vs. Sanwa OSBF-24

Hi!

I can easily buy OSBF-30 buttons from a local store. But the OSBF-24 seems nice too! They are smaller, but I don't believe that they are better in size than OSBF-30? If I want the OSBF-24 I need to order it from another country...

I wonder if you guys know if the OSBF-30 got the same "feeling" as the OSBF-24. Because if they do, I'll probably get the OSBF-30!

Thanks in advance!

It's possible to add some foam to the bottom of the buttons... I've seen that on this community . That will lower the click sound!

I'm pretty familiar with these arcade buttons. I build arcade sticks. The 24mm do have less of a clicking noise then the 30mm, but both feel like butter. The clicking noise isn't from the micro switches, its from the button hitting the housing. I would pass on semitsu buttons, they are stiffer then sanwa. I use semitsu buttons on my fight stick and they are also louder.

It's the late 80's in Gotham City... An illicit gang is meeting in a damp basement downtown planning to pull off the crime of the century, gaining total control of the the city for years to come... Can Batman get there in time to save the day? Can he keep the unwitting citizens safe from the menace of....

I have never seen a video as dry as that with more epic music. I was almost weeping as the drama unfolded.

There is a click. . .It's just not as noticeable as on the 30's. There's a vid on youtube (as old as it is) that you can probably hear the differences. It's not by much to tell you the truth.

I've also been looking into the Semitsu buttons as well. I've posted on another community , so if you are interested in LED's for some of the buttons, you may want to check out shoryuken.com for some LED ideas (although I'm such a noob in that department)

Okey!

I'm going with the 3x3 button setup. Look at my project: http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=18627

Seems like the size wouldn't be a problem!

I'm pretty sure they have the same response. . .but it does depend on the micro switch on em. Sanwa's are famous for that. I got a fighter stick with Sanwa's 30's and 24's. . .Never had an issue with them. I had to sell it though. . -(

30's are a tad bigger, and with the multiple button presses for FX on the midi fighter would make those presses feel like a mile to reach, rather than a few inches.

Larger Midi Fighter?
