Question About FX in Traktor Pro

Hello,

This is my first post and I just began DJing so I apologize if this question is stupid:

Is there any way to stop a track and have the track echo or reverberate until it fades out without having any effects applied to the track itself? Can I apply the effect to a deck and have it only effect the track when the song ends? Reason being is I don't want my track to get muddy from the effect and I don't want to stop the track abruptly when I pause it.
