Inez Marcinik 07.01.2011 | the djm-2000s are as complicated as you make em really, if its just simple mixing your after then its not really much different to any other pioneer mixer, the majority of the features are for effects. |
Gilma Marchini 07.01.2011 | I'd work on getting use to the djm I'd possible, their all over the place. On that note the Nuo is thinner and should be easier to transport (check the weights though), although finding a flight case is impossible. Ive heard a few complaints on the 22's build quality, if it's meant to go around the nuo may be the better choice, unless you want a Flight case. The djm 2 channels may be another consideration if you'd like to ease your way into the pioneer, although 2-channel djm's are rumored to be total shit from what i can tell. I honestly picked the nuo over the 22 in the end due to the shape and fx sends... |
Cammy Clegg 07.01.2011 | they have a DJM 2000 that looks so friggin complicated to use. i want mix with something im famillar with. They said its ok if i bring my own mixer |
Gilma Marchini 07.01.2011 | But you use the club's mixer right? I'm saying ecler is overkill for a bedroom and fitting for say a bar, but I wouldn't power amclub with it compared to an A&H mixer. But compared to a pioneer I would consider it for club use. The filter is another thing to consider. |

The Xone 22 and Nuo are both great mixers, but the nuo has lots'o more features and no power adapter is needed (That's a huge deal for me, power blocks are always inconvenient and end up causing the mixer to unplug itself). I haven't used the 22 a lot so I can't pick one for sure, but the general lack of options and features on the xone 22 was a turnoff for me. If it's just for use in bedroom to practice for clubs then the quality difference won't be noticeable, despite not being that large of a difference anyways. I would say go for the nuo 2.0, but that's my own biased opinion being a nuo owner. |
Ofelia Schraner 06.01.2011 | I'd take a xone 22 + midi controller for effects |
