Numark DJ io sound card and snow leopard help Posted on: 30.01.2011 by Marcelene Bruell Going crazy here hopefully someone can help me shed some light on this subject. Just purchased Numark DJ io sound card and a pair of Mackie MR5 speakers. when i plug in my soundcard on newest snow leopard on my imac 24 the volume sets to max and is grayed out so i can not adjust. i can not find anything on the net and have not received a message back from numark support. I am using the latest driver. This is a huge problem because my speakers do not have volume control.any info much appreciated thanks | |

Leeanna Ayla 30.01.2011 | What DJ software and controller do you have? Can you not adjust the volume in it or on it? As a side note if the DJ I/O stays connected to the computer all the time you can go to audio midi settings on the iMac and set it as the default audio device. this way you can leave your headphones plugged into it and still get all of the computer sounds through the i/o. |
Maisie Marras 30.01.2011 | when you plug it in, youre still using your internal sound card. go to traktors prefs and under audio settings choose: numark usb devise (asio) have your volume down so its not really loud all of a sudden. now, when you open traktor with the sound card unplugged you have to go back and choose your internal sound card |
