Which controller has the most responsive pitch fader?

Hi all

What kind of controller would give me an responsive pitch fader? A MIDI fader only can be in 128 positions, which makes accurate beatmatching impossible. Is used to own a VCI100 and the pitch faders were pretty useless.

So how are your experiences with other systems? (hid etc.)
Also is it possible to work Traktor with anything else then MIDI? What about the S4?

In the best case I'm looking for a single deck controller that enables me to beatmatch manually in Traktor.

Any Ideas?

SC2000 is really sweet indeed, some report a small firmware issue nut Denon said they should release an upgrade soon.

Yea, there are a lot of products with either 14-bit MIDI (e.g., VCI-100 with FW 1.4, VCI-100 MKII, Denon SC2000 and MC6000) or HID (e.g., Numark NS6 when used in conjunction with Itch) or other high-resolution protocols (such as the NI S4 which uses NI's proprietary NHL protocol).

So you have plenty of options. look for something with sufficiently long faders though iyam. For my taste, the ones in, say, the VCI or the S4 are too short for comfortable manual beatmatching.
