Replacing Sound Flower with JACK Audio Problems?
Replacing Sound Flower with JACK Audio Problems? Posted on: 07.02.2011 by Tierra Barbish Ok, so I had sound flower installed on my mac to route each traktor deck into a audio track in ableton. Then I would add effects, limiters, compressors, etc. But after DJing for about 20min, there was what sounds like a buffer overflow when playing, as the audio would stutter and feedback-like-noise would gradually build up.Now I want to use JACK Audio instead as I've been told on here that it's more reliable, but I liked sound flower because it was always on (I didn't have to start the JACK Piolet) and It was easy to save my configuration (Just set the sound devices in traktor and ableton) But in JACK I could configure the audio routing the way I like, but when I save a session, and try to reload it, It just won't, I keep getting an error. If you could help at all, or know any other programs, please let me know. | |
