i've been trying to decide what dj controller to get
i've narrowed it down to:
numark ns7
denon dn-mc6000
traktor kontrol s4

recommend which one you believe i should get... or recommend something you believe is better

yeh, as yet traktor doesn't support spinning platters. Who knows what'll come in TP2 though.

Go for the S4.

I had an NS7FX..... 3 weeks ago I sold it and bought a Kontrol S4. Best move I ever made..... no regrest... all happy, all the time....

imo opinion its goes as following:
S4 i own one and its hax (S4 all the way all time <3)
N7 is pretty decent but no traktor ? what a waste of fantastic hardware
dn-mc6000 nah S4 and N7 are way better and cooler :P

yeah i believe im more of a digital dj
i believe im leaning more towards the s4
i like the denon but it comes with virtual dj and i want traktor
but i'll check out the one you recommended!

It depends on what you want to do, how you play and what you play on software wise. If your the old skool records type I would say the Numark Ns7, but its very expensive and you'll have to find a mapping or make one.

Digital DJ type, I wouldn't go with the Denon. But atm the wouldn't go with the S4 either ($900). I would go with with the Reloop Jockey 3 ($700). Its cheaper so I would add a Kontrol X1. But S4 over the Denon mc6000 imo.
