DJ-Tech iMix Reload problem
Posted on: 10.03.2011 by Aldo Tercerd
Hey guys - today I've decided to do some sh*t on VirtualDJ before going to school on my DJ-Tech iMix Reload controller, but it turns out that the damn thing don't wanna work the way its supposed to..
At first I didn't notice it (I'm not sure if the problem was persisting before I turned the controller on so idk if I had to do something with it), but than I saw that when I move the cross-fader to the left (so I can only hear deck A) it automatically returns to the center (well not center, but almost.. its like this ---|----).
I've also tried it on Deckadance, same problem persists.
Is it my PC or my MIDI controller is f*cked?
If it is the controller itself - is there any chance I could fix it myself?
The warranty is international (I'm from Bulgaria) so I don't wanna wait 1 month just to get it shipped back and forth (excluding the time it would take DJ-Tech to fix it/replace it) so yeah, can I fix it up myself?

That didn't work well, but it turns out the crossfader was bent a little bit to the left, I managed to fix it, everything is ok now.
Thanks to fullenglishpint for responding!

Might just be a dirty fader? Tried a blast of compressed air?
