Recommendation for an audio interface (vmx100usb)
Recommendation for an audio interface (vmx100usb) Posted on: 16.03.2011 by Mona Konicek I'm looking at getting an audio interface for traktor. I need to have a main out and a headphones out for cueing tracks. I was about to pull the trigger on a NI audio 2 dj but ran across the Behringer vmx100usb. Would this work for me?I used the 3 band eq on my controller as well as the fader. The behringer just seems to give more functionality for the same price. I would probably end up mapping the faders and knobs for something else. I basically just need a 4x2 audio interface (right?). The audio 2 dj looks very simple and I know it would do the job. However if I could get the same functionality plus some extra features and comparable sound quality I'd go with the Behringer. EDIT: It should work just as a sound card, but it appears that the VMX100usb can't act as a midi controller, thus no traktor integration. Now it's not nearly as appealing. | |
