Buying parts over eBay.

I've been looking at using this solution for sending MIDI over USB with an Arduino, but am somewhat skeptical about buying the converter from eBay.
Would anyone care to share their experiences buying parts from eBay, especially Chinese power-sellers?

I'm in Australia, so the Amazon one wasn't an option. Cheers for the feedback guys.

I own two of these midi-usb cables. Ordered on ebay from China... good quality. Things have been working for 3 years wihtout any problem and you have LEDs on it, which say when Midi goes in or out or both
