Would you recommend this for DJ:s?

Macbook Air 13"
1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
128GB Flash Storage

The storage ain't so large, but hey, I could use a external harddrive!

/ O

I agree. T2 requirements are not very precise (Intel

Erm...no.

Traktor 2 is far more processor intensive than anything else, so being .8 ghz below minimum system requirements to really gonna hurt performance.

@Oskars: Just get the 13 inch mbp. Your getting better performance with a system that is still pretty damn sleek by anyone's standards.

Go for the 13" MBP and do an SSD mod. Or don't do an SSD mod, but still go for the MBP!

From a portability standpoint, the 11' is tasty and would have ample Juice for DJ'ing (1.6 & 128SSD, 4gb RAM) but if you are going 13' get a MBP instead, you wont regret it.

Why don't go for a 13" MacBook Pro?

2) It's not bad build quality, but I doubt it's sturdy either, I'd go for something more durable.
3) USB ports as mentioned above

Well, in general Airs are quite good piece of gear (extremely light, portable, not a bad performance) however it depends for what you're using it. In my opinion for DJs it's not a good choice. Mainly because it has only 2 usbs. Yes, other MacBooks have also only 2 usbs but they have firewire which is perfect for the external drive connection And believe me, if you want to be portable with your Air you don't want to mess around with an external drive. It's always better to have everything in one piece.
