Gents i'm in need of a bit of help.

I'm wanting to build a usb midi device for mixing internally with traktor. i'll be using the UMC-32 for the brains.

I've bought these buttons but then realised i've bought PCB mount.

Obviously panel mount would be easier but i've bought them now, so any ideas on how to mount these?

I'm looking to buy perspex for the panel, my faders and pots are panel mount.

Cheers

you use mounting screws and spacers to attach the pcb to your faceplate... it's pretty easy...

Need a little more info on the first button. Are you fitting an led, is it a latching button, do you have the right gear to cut square holes in acrylic?

Can you post a couple of photos to? We'll try and help out.

How would i then mount that to the panel?? I'm looking for inspiration otherwise I may just try and dump the switches and go for the easier panel mount switches

I've found these but obviously they don't look as good.

I've thought about mounting the switches onto a PCB and then screwing that to the panel, although i'm not sure how sturdy it will be??
