how would i map this?

This gonna be hard to explain so bare with me. I got my loop set to an instant 2 bar loop at the push of a button. But I got my loop IN point set on the modifier key when I hit the same button and then the loop out on a separate button, so I can do manual loops of my desired length instead of instant 2 bar loops. Following me so far?

I like having the snap mode on cos it mean I can get perfect loops. But what I want to do is have snap mode turn off when I use the manual loop in and out function. I have set the snap button to the modifier key and got it on 'hold', so that when I hit 'loop in' and 'loop out' on manual mode the snap feature is turned off. Problem is it not registering the snap button in time. Its doing what I want but not quick enough so it stays in snap mode as I hit 'loop in'. Still following me?

the only option I can see is to have the snap function mapped to a dedicated button... not a massive problem but it would be nice to not have to believe about it.

Any help appreciated.

thanks in advance

nah it turns off the amount of time I hold the button but it's like it registers the loop in before the snap off

Does it signal to turn off the Snap feature when you release the button or after a few milliseconds of having it pressed?
