Some general questions
Some general questions Posted on: 15.04.2011 by Diane Sultzer I am, eventually, going to buy some real turntables (Direct Drive) and a mixer. I am not sure though how much i should save up, what i should buy, what will last, what my budget should be(redundant i know).Any ideas? I am not sure which style I will be mixing yet, i have just started. But i would like something that i could use for both scratching and for general mixing, so i can get a taste of both worlds. Any help would be appreciated! thanks -Nick | |

Ciara Cuttill 14.04.2011 | in before people start saying DO NOT GET BELT DRIVEN TT. are you going to be using a DVS (digital vinyl) setup??? there are many other options than a TT and mixer, such as midi controllers. If you are starting out and are not looking into Scratching, you may want to look at midi controllers. If anything save up for Direct drive TT, what you learn on a belt driven would take a while to unlearn when you pick up a direct drive. my $0.02 |
