I wasn't having a go at you specifically. More the posters who believe the employer should "lighten up". These guys are working 100s of metres underground in an incredibly risky environment. It's a place that requires a zero tolerance attitude to unsafe practices. These guys know the rules and the reason they did the video was because its just so "crazy" to do this stupid meme in an underground mine!!!??## OMG ROFL what crazy mad cunts ... They also knew the potential consequences if they got caught. They really don't deserve any sympathy. |

04.03.2013 | The corporation is obviously setting an example. When your paying 20-something year olds over 100,000K they will tend to get less professional and believe they run the company.
This just shows everyone else in the company that they can and will replace ppl. (Seriously, they can fill those jobs in 2 days....no college education required, tons of money, hard hours but applicants are young). I don't feel that bad for the guys to be honest, I'm sure they will make it for a year before they have to find a job, if they happened to save a few pennies (which typically doesn't happen in that industry)
The executives are developing a culture for the corporation, if you believe the direct manager of these ppl made the firing then you are wrong, this probably came down from the top. |

Its just blowing off steam during a shift. As far as i can see there's not a lot of anything dangerous going on there.
