Not able to use Live 8 effects in Scratch Live
Not able to use Live 8 effects in Scratch Live Posted on: 09.05.2011 by Francene Leonardelli This week I tried for the first time to use the Effect rack from Live 8 into Scratch Live via The Bridge. I'm using an Akai MPK 49. The thing is that I can see the effect rack in Scratch Live an when I turn the knobs I can't see them moving in Scratch Live but not effects whatsoever are working onto the live tracks that I'm playing. I really need help with that please. Does this have to do with the MIDI button in Scratch live or something that I have to do that i missed? Or is it something in Ableton perhaps. Thanks alot for your Respond I appreciate.Cabs | |

Laurice Migneco 10.05.2011 | Audio from Serato is not routed to Ableton so you can't use Ableton effects on it unless you take the output from your SL box and route it back into Ableton with a second audio interface, you can't jack or soundflower the audio into Ableton in the same way that you can with Traktor, it needs to come out of the computer and be routed back in using physical cables.... maybe a future version will allow this but today you need to invest in some cables!
